Plato was a very famouse philosopher for many reason. he developed many things.
first he made a lot of writing about everything that socrates said, this was because plato was socrates diciple. second he developed his own way of thinking and he called it platonism. this way of thinking is relaited a to the ideas and reality...... what is real and waht is not...... that is why is said that plato is an idealist and finally he also created like a school in Athens , so he could have his own diciples.
i feel as though there are a lot of holes in this explanation. i would like to understand more about how plato defined reality and what is idealism. also how did plato´s ideas differ from those of socrates.
